Saudi Arabiaโs Council of Ministers has decided the government will bear the full cost of temporary work visas for seasonal labour employed in the Hady and Adahi project during the 1447 AH Hajj season.
The Hady and Adahi project manages the ritual slaughter of sacrificial animals during Hajj โ one of the most logistically intensive operations of the annual pilgrimage. Seasonal workers brought in to support this project will not be required to cover their own visa fees.
The temporary visa in question is the dedicated work permit used for Hajj and Umrah service roles, designed for short-term labour brought in specifically for the pilgrimage period.
