Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has set 31 May 2026 — corresponding to 14 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH — as the date on which Umrah visa issuance will resume and international pilgrims will once again be allowed to enter the Saudi Arabia.
Entry Into Makkah From 1 June
From 1 June 2026, entry into Makkah and the issuance of Umrah permits through the Nusuk app will resume. Pilgrims holding valid Umrah visas will be able to proceed to the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) and begin their Umrah once permits are secured through the platform.
