रियाद: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan और Türkiye ने 5 अक्टूबर 2026 को Riyadh में Makkah Alliance for Defense की Strategic-Political and Defense Committee की emergency meeting की। Saudi Press Agency के आधिकारिक बयान के अनुसार बैठक का केंद्र Saudi Arabia के सामने security developments और threats थे। Committee ने retired Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood को alliance का पहला Secretary-General नियुक्त करने का फैसला भी किया.
