Doha: A high-level Arab‑Islamic summit in Doha erupted in outrage this week after an Israeli airstrike targeted a compound linked to Hamas, killing several people including a Qatari security officer during ceasefire talks. Heads of state and foreign ministers from across the Arab and Muslim world branded the attack a brazen violation of sovereignty and international law, and demanded immediate accountability.

Qatar’s Stinging Rebuke

Qatar’s leadership, led by Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, called the attack a “cowardly and treacherous act” that struck at the heart of diplomatic efforts.
