Formation of New District Executive Committees of Maharashtra Waqf Federation
State officials’ meeting held at Dargah Syed Ahmed Sher Sawar, Jalna

Jalna: A significant meeting was organized under the Maharashtra Waqf Federation to form new district executive committees across the state. The meeting was held at Dargah Syed Ahmed Sher Sawar in Jalna, under the chairmanship of the Federation’s President Gaus Shirodkar and the guidance of General Secretary Syed Jameel Ahmed Razvi from Jalna. Several key officials, including Vice President Ilyasuddin Khatib, Secretary Mehboob Nizami, and member Wajid S. Khan, were present.

Announcement of New District Executives

  • In the meeting, appointments of district presidents and other officials from various districts were announced:
  • Aurangabad District President: Kalimoddin Qazi
  • Nanded: Gais Inamdar
  • Parbhani: Chand Pasha
  • Ahmednagar: Latif Inamdar
  • Nashik: Sameer Sheikh
  • Yavatmal: Zainul Abedin
  • Washim: Mohammad Tajuddin
  • Pune: Aminuddin Mujawar
  • Jalna District President: Gulam Mehboob
Additionally, other appointments included:
  • Aurangabad (Working President): Irshad Inamdar
  • Marathwada (Working President): Qazi Syed Wajid Jagirdar
  • Nanded (Secretary): Mohammad Ilyasuddin
  • Hingoli (Joint Secretary): Mohammad Ahtishamuddin
  • Parbhani (Office Head): Javed Inamdar
  • Nandurbar: Pinjari Siddique
  • Aurangabad (Legal Advisor): Advocate Shahrukh Pathan
  • Latur: Raziyuddin Siddiqui

Federation’s Objectives and Priorities

President Gaus Shirodkar stated that the Maharashtra Waqf Federation is a registered organization working effectively to protect the rights of Inamdars and Mutawallis and safeguard Inami properties. General Secretary Syed Jameel Maulana emphasized the Federation’s commitment to preserving and managing Inami and Waqf properties while protecting the rights of Inamdars, Mutawallis, and Sajjadas. The protection of religious sites such as Dargahs, Mazars, Maqbaras, Eidgahs, and Imam Baras is also a priority for the Federation.

Representation Before the Parliamentary Committee

Syed Jameel Maulana highlighted that the Federation effectively presented the rights of Inamdars and Mutawallis before the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Amendment Bill. The Federation clarified the definitions of Inami properties and Waqf properties, ensuring their stance was firmly represented.

New Steps by the Federation

The formation of new executive committees aims to strengthen the organizational structure in districts and ensure the protection of Waqf properties. This initiative is expected to give the Federation a new direction and increased efficiency. The meeting also underscored the Federation’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of Inamdars and Mutawallis while ensuring transparency and effectiveness in the management of Waqf properties.
