Social and Religious Initiatives by Raza Academy Nationwide: A series of programs focusing on education and healthcare have been launched across the country.

Jalna: To commemorate the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a range of significant initiatives focusing on education and healthcare are being introduced across India. Islamic countries have been appealed to establish universities, libraries, and hospitals in the Prophet’s name. Additionally, a formal request has been made to the Indian government to issue a special commemorative postage stamp to honor the occasion.

This information was shared by Maulana Saeed Noori, President of the All India Raza Academy, at a press conference held at Dargah Syed Ahmed Sher Sawar in Jalna. The event was attended by notable figures, including Syed Jameel Maulana, trustee of Dargah Rajabagh Sawar, and Maulana Abbas Rizvi, along with other distinguished guests. The announcement was made during the 747th Urs celebrations at Dargah Rajabagh Sawar. Prominent attendees included Khan Munawwar Lala, Abdul Aziz Mamdani, Maulana Zafaruddin, Mohammed Asif Mamdani, Saddam Raza Qureshi, and others.

Key Initiatives by Raza Academy

Maulana Saeed Noori outlined the academy’s plans for the 1500th Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, which include:

  • Free medical camps and distribution of medicines to the underprivileged.
  • Distribution of Holy Quran copies.
  • Translating the biography of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) into multiple languages, including Hindi, Urdu, and Marathi, to reach all sections of society.
  • Special campaigns to support old age homes and underserved communities.

Formation of “Milad Council”

To commemorate this landmark event, the “Milad Council” has been established in Maharashtra. Syed Jameel Maulana has been appointed as its in-charge for Jalna district. The council will focus on educational and healthcare reforms while promoting communal harmony across the state.

Message of Brotherhood and Communal Harmony

Highlighting the importance of peace and unity, Maulana Noori emphasized the strict implementation of the Places of Worship Act, 1991, to maintain communal harmony. He also referenced a Supreme Court petition filed to halt surveys of religious sites, calling it a vital step towards sustaining peace in the country.

Local Programs and Future Plans

At a program held at Dargah Rajabagh Sawar, Holy Quran copies were distributed, and arrangements were made for meals and medicines for the needy. The academy also announced upcoming initiatives, including weekly langar distributions every Monday, educational support for students, and free medical assistance for patients.

This initiative to honor Prophet Muhammad’s teachings through the establishment of new institutions in education and healthcare marks a significant stride toward societal progress and development.
