Dua For Rizq
Everyone wants more money. But money alone does not fix anything. You need the right kind of rizq. You need provision that is good for you, not just plentiful.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught his wife Umm Salamah (R.A.) a dua that covers all of this.
He said it every single morning after Fajr prayer. It became his daily habit. And it can become yours too.
Dua To Recite For Seeking Rizq
This supplication is recorded in Sunan Ibn Majah. Umm Salamah (رضي الله عنها) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) would say this after finishing the Fajr prayer.
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan
Meaning:
“O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds.”
The Prophet said this dua every single morning after Fajr. That timing matters.
Starting your day with this prayer sets the tone for everything that follows. You are asking Allah to bless your mind, your wallet, and your actions before you even step out the door.
How many times should you recite this dua?
- Recite this dua once every morning after the Fajr prayer, following the Prophet’s example.
Make “Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an” your first words after Fajr Salam. Let it guide your entire day.
You should stop stressing about money and start focusing on what truly matters. The knowledge, the provision, and the acceptance all come together. And your rizq becomes exactly what you need it to be.
