Mumbai: The blessed birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will complete 1500 years on September 5, 2025. To mark this significant milestone, a meeting was organized at Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai, by Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori, head of the Alami Tahreek Raza Academy. Esteemed scholars from Jamia Ashrafia Mubarakpur and other institutions participated in this gathering.
The special guests included “Baqiyat-us-Salaf Khair-ul-Azkiya” Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Misbahi and “Siraj-ul-Fuqaha” Mufti Nizamuddin Misbahi.
Grand Celebration of 1500 Years of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ

Addressing the scholars, Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori expressed gratitude to the attendees and emphasized the historic importance of celebrating the 1500th year of the Prophet’s ﷺ birth. He stated that the occasion should be commemorated so magnificently that it becomes a lasting memory for future generations.
He also highlighted the efforts of Raza Academy in spreading the message of “The Prophet’s Mercy for All” throughout the country. He urged scholars and leaders to ensure this message reaches every community and every household.
Nationwide Campaigns
Maulana Muhammad Abbas Rizvi shared that Raza Academy has been touring the country for the past six months to promote the 1500-year celebration. He announced the formation of the “Milad Council,” which aims to organize events across India to make the celebration extraordinary.

He further discussed the pressing need for Islamic colleges, noting the challenges faced by Muslim girls in adhering to Islamic dress codes in regular schools. He appealed for the establishment of Islamic colleges to provide a safe environment for girls to embrace Islamic values without fear.
Focus on Islamic Education
Maulana Akhtar Hussain Faizi Misbahi emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of Islamic colleges and urged Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori to prioritize this matter. Supporting this view, Maulana Qasim Misbahi stressed the need to spread the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ widely.
Praise for the Initiative
Senior scholars from Jamia Ashrafia Mubarakpur, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Misbahi, and Mufti Nizamuddin Misbahi praised Raza Academy’s initiative to celebrate the 1500th year of the Prophet’s ﷺ birth. They encouraged Sunni scholars to actively participate in the “Mercy for All” campaign and spread its message to every home.
They also urged mosque leaders to incorporate this theme into their Friday sermons to raise awareness among the masses about the importance of this campaign.
Global Outreach

Concluding the meeting, Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Noori expressed his vision of reaching out to Islamic leaders worldwide. He announced plans to send letters to these leaders, requesting their participation in the 1500-year celebration. He expressed confidence that Islamic nations would support the initiative and organize grand celebrations on September 5, 2025.

This meeting served as a significant step toward making the 1500th year of the Prophet’s ﷺ birth a historic and inspiring event on both national and international levels.
