Burj Khalifa to Shine for 1500th Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Mumbai: In a heartfelt appeal to His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Muhammad Saeed Noori, President of Raza Academy, Mumbai, has requested that the iconic Burj Khalifa be illuminated to mark the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This historic occasion will fall on 12th Rabi al-Awwal, 1447 Hijri (4th September 2025).
Noori’s letter underscores the profound significance of the milestone, referring to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the “Mercy for all mankind” whose teachings of peace, unity, and divine guidance continue to inspire millions worldwide. The proposal includes a spectacular illumination of the Burj Khalifa featuring the Kalima Tayyiba, the Green Dome of Madinah, and the revered name of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The tribute may be accompanied by recitations of Qasida al-Burda or verses of Hassan ibn Thabit, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for observers.
The initiative aims to send a powerful message of Islam’s core values—peace, mercy, and compassion—on a global stage while highlighting Dubai’s unique identity and visionary spirit.
Concluding with humility and deep respect, Noori expressed hope that Dubai will lead this historic commemoration, inspiring Muslims and communities worldwide to celebrate the legacy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
