अर्जुन खोतकर 1 लाख 4 हजार 665 वोट,
कैलाश गोरंट्याल 73 हजार 14 वोट
अब्दुल हफीज ने काटे 30 हजार 454 वोट

जालना: जालना विधानसभा में पारंपरिक प्रतिद्वंदी कांग्रेस के विधायक कैलाश गोरंट्याल को शिवसेना शिंदे गट के अर्जुन खोतकर ने 31 हजार 651 मतों के भारी अंतर से करारी शिकस्त देकर पिछली बार मिली 26 हजार मतों की हार का बदला ले लिया. उनकी जीत के साथ ही जालना में खोतकर और गोरंट्याल के बारी बारी विधायक बनने की परंपरा बरकरार रही. 1999 से लगा कर आज तक जालना में इन दोनों का ही दबदबा बरकरार है.

शिंदे गट के अर्जुन खोतकर ने 1 लाख 4 हजार 665 वोट हासिल किए जबकि कांग्रेस के कैलाश गोरंट्याल को 73 हजार 14 वोटों पर ही समाधान करना पड़ा.

निर्दलीय अब्दुल हफीज ने बिगाडा कांग्रेस का समीकरण

इस चुनाव में कांग्रेस से टिकट नहीं मिलने के बाद अब्दुल हफीज ने बागी रुख अपनाते हुए निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ा. सिर्फ मुस्लिम वोटो के आधार पर उनकी जीत की संभावना पहले से भी नही थी लेकिन मौलाना सज्जाद नोमानी द्वारा उनका समर्थन करने के बाद जालना में फिजा बदली.

अब्दुल हफीज के समर्थन में मुस्लिम धर्मगुरुओं के समर्थन के बाद हिंदू समाज में भी एकजुट होने की हवा अर्जुन खोतकर के पक्ष में चली. अब्दुल हफीज ने 30 हजार 454 वोट लेकर कांग्रेस को जहां पूरी तरह कमजोर कर दिया वही उनकी वजह से हिंदू समाज विशेषकर मारवाड़ी और सिंधी समाज के वोट जो कैलाश गोरंट्याल के वोट बैंक थे वो भी कट कर खोतकर के खाते में चले गए तथा खोतकर बड़ी जीत हासिल करने में सफल रहे.

इस चुनाव वंचित बहुजन आघाडी के डेविड घुमारे को 6 हजार 322 वोट मिले. भाजपा के बागी निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार अशोक पांगारकर को 2 हजार 227 वोट मिले. इनके अलावा अन्य सभी उम्मीदवारों को एक हजार से भी कम वोट मिले. नोटा को 813 लोगें ने वोट किया.
