District-Level Ijtema of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Concludes Successfully

Jalna: The current times are filled with challenges and difficulties. In such circumstances, abandoning despair and working with enthusiasm and determination towards one’s goals is the key to success. This inspiring message was delivered by Zafar Ansari, Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra, during his address.

The occasion was a district-level Ijtema organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind branches of Jalna, Badnapur, and Ambad at the Akbari Masjid. A large number of male and female members participated in the event. District President Syed Shakir presented the preamble, while Musab, a member of the SIO Jalna branch, recited a motivational poem.

Quranic Discourse and Message to Members

In his address, Zafar Ansari stated that the challenges of modern times are temporary. He urged members to stay committed to their objectives and carry out their duties with confidence. To eliminate the despair spreading in society, he encouraged them not only to become self-reliant but also to inspire those around them.

Book Review: “Indian Muslims—Challenges, Fears, and Solutions”

A review of the book “Indian Muslims—Challenges, Fears, and Solutions” by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s National President Syed Sadatullah Husaini was presented. Syed Tauheed from Jalna noted that the book raises awareness within the Muslim community about current challenges and offers practical guidance for resolving issues.

Thought Session: “Jamaat-e-Islami Hind—Rays of Light in Darkness”

Delving deep into this topic, Zafar Ansari emphasized that the purpose of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind is not just religious reform but also social upliftment, education, and the promotion of moral values. He likened the Jamaat to a beacon of light aimed at awakening society.

Discussion Session: “Building Excellent Families Under the Shade of Islam”

Several speakers shared their insights during this session:

Ghazi Tariq (Jalna) discussed the importance of Islamic family values.
Sara Firdaus (Ambad) highlighted the role and responsibilities of women.
Dr. Atiq (Badnapur) stated that instilling morality and discipline within families can bring positive changes to society.
Mohammed Ismail (Ambad) described the family as the foundation of society, emphasizing that its strength ensures societal development.

Special Message for the Youth

Maulana Sadiq Majahiri, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s Ambad branch, expressed concern over the excessive use of mobile phones and their detrimental effects. He remarked that overuse not only wastes time but also weakens the youth mentally and physically. He urged parents to protect their children from mobile addiction and channel their energy into creative endeavors and education.

Participation of Women and Children

Adeeba Anam, a member of the Girls Islamic Organization of India (GIO), delivered an inspiring poem during the program. Amina Almas, President of the Jamaat’s women’s wing, gave a sermon on Hadith and underscored the importance of an Islamic lifestyle.

Basheer Ahmed Rahi shared his thoughts on “Women’s Contribution in the Islamic Social System,” stating that women play a crucial role in guiding society.

The first session was conducted by Abdul Khaliq (Badnapur) and the second by Hakeem Patel (Ambad). Members of the Youth Movement of Maharashtra (YMM), Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO), and Girls Islamic Organization of India (GIO) played significant roles in making the program successful.

At the conclusion, Zafar Ansari addressed the members, encouraging them to continue their work undeterred by difficulties or despair. He inspired them to make continuous efforts for the welfare of society and the nation.
