In the mid‑2000s, he became a member of the arbitration committee for the International Commission on Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah and was later appointed as a mufti on Saudi television, which broadened his reach.

His leadership at Quba Mosque marked a turning point. Serving as Imam and Khatib, he delivered Friday sermons and conducted weekly tafsir lessons that attracted worshippers from across the region.

These lessons were widely recorded and shared on television and social media. Al‑Maghamsi is known for his calm, articulate style and his ability to connect classical Islamic scholarship to contemporary issues.

In 2026 he was elevated by royal decree to serve as an imam at the Prophet’s Mosque, a role that highlights the Kingdom’s trust in his scholarship and leadership.
