🌸 Ayat-e-Karima: Meaning, Virtues, and Wazifa 🌸

Ayat-e-Karima is a powerful supplication (dua) from the Holy Qur’an recited by Prophet Yunus (A.S.) when he was trapped in the belly of the fish in the deep sea. It is known for removing difficulties, distress, and bringing relief from all troubles when recited with true faith.


🔹 Arabic:

🔹 Transliteration:

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn

🔹 English Translation:

“There is no god but You, Glory be to You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers.”


📖 Qur’anic Reference:

This dua is mentioned in Surah Al-Anbiya (21:87). When Prophet Yunus (A.S.) recited this with a sincere heart, Allah granted him relief from darkness and distress.

“So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.”
— (Qur’an 21:88)

  • The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Whoever recites this supplication in any distress, Allah will remove his difficulty.” — (Tirmidhi)
  • Whoever recites it with repentance and sincerity, Allah surely accepts his prayer.
