Grade X Farewell Ceremony at St. John’s and Ryan School

In a burst of cheerful greeting and heartfelt best wishes the staff and the students of grade IX bid farewell to the students of Std X. Dressed in formal suits and lovely traditional wear. The students had an air of the upcoming generation, already embarking on the journey of their future success.

The farewell gathering with memories of staying together from elementary to high school grade were rife with funny banter and smile…with a promise to stay in touch but the thought of separation was choking with revolting emotions.

Keeping in line with Ryan custom, the farewell began with appropriate quotes and readings from the Holy Bible! A grand reception and welcome speech and song welcomed the Director of Ryan International Group of Institutions Dr. Snehal Pinto.

Thereafter the outgoing students shared their experiences of being part of this great institution where they learnt the value of life and cherished every moment. It was a morning of mixed emotions for everyone to witness the official send-off for the students of Std. X at the farewell ceremony.

The students were thankful and promised to remain indebted to School Chairman Dr. A.F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Dr. Grace Pinto for her guidance in inculcating value based education. Undoubtedly these students will remember and be proud of their alma mater for all their achievements in their life.

An annual ritual of passing on lit candles by the outgoing students to the present students symbolizing the continuation of inculcating knowledge and values was done with great reverence and devotion. This event was followed by felicitation to the achievers of Ryan Prince and Princess Awardees, in academics, sports and cultural activities. The farewell ceremony concluded with farewell song followed by school anthem and National Anthem.
