Life imprisonment for son-in-law who killed mother – in – law

Jalna: Chief District and Sessions Judge V M Mohite, while giving an important judgment today, convicted the accused Vijay Kishan Dhillode (aged 35, resident of Bhimnagar Bhavsingpura, Aurangabad) for killing his mother in law and sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000. . In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to undergo simple imprisonment for three months.

According to the information received, there was always a dispute between the accused and his wife, and the accused used to beat the wife wildly. The accused had also threatened to kill the wife and her mother several times. Due to all these reasons, the wife along with her son had come to her maternal home near the Marble Palace shop in Jalna. Meanwhile, on 22 November 2021, the accused reached Jalna and went to his mother-in-law’s house. At this time his wife had gone to work at the brick kiln while the children were at home. At this time the accused asked in law to send his wife with him. At this time, a quarrel took place between the son-in-law and mother-in-law. After this, the accused attacked her with the stone lying nearby and escaped after killing her.

A case was registered in this matter at the Sadar Bazar police station. During the trial, 11 witnesses were examined in the court. After hearing the arguments from both sides, the court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and a fine. In this case, District Public Prosecutor Bharat Khandekar appeared on behalf of the government.
