The 20th edition of the Indian Model United Nations (INMUN) took place from 2nd to 4th November in Delhi at Scope Complex and witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 900 delegates across 100 schools and 18 Indian states. Since its inception in 2001, INMUN has focused on providing learning in a fun environment and has aimed to encourage students to go beyond textbook knowledge and engage themselves in active debates to learn about international diplomacy and issues across the globe

The students of Ryan International School, Aurangabad represented Qatar at the 20th Edition of the Indian Model United Nations. The 3-day conference in New Delhi was graced by the Managing Director of Ryan International Group of Institutions Madam Dr. Grace Pinto and C.E.O Mr.Ryan Pinto.

The students of Ryan International School, Aurangabad represented Qatar. The 3-day conference began with the discussion and debating on Agenda-I Agenda-II of each committee Mst. Swanand Muley, Mst Abhinav Chabuskwar, Mst. Ashish Hiwale, Mst Darsheel Thakur, and Mst. Ayush Thakre was the delegate of Qatar. Through the actual working of the MUN with an executive board, students discussed various issues such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, discussion on the ongoing energy crisis, the existing mechanisms and legal framework and its impact on climate change, deliberation on devising a framework to establish preparedness protocols for tackling pandemics and epidemics and deliberating upon the recent collapse of economies with the particular emphasis on the availability and accessibility of financial technology in Asia and Africa.

The guest speakers for days one and two were Dr. Bharat Desai, Maj. Gen P.K. Saigal, Mrs. Anita Singh, Mr. Pranjal Sinha, Mr. Priyanshu Grover, and Mr. Vaibhav Kaushik. Dr. Deepak Vohara, Dr. Devendra Singh, and Mr. Divyanshu Tyagi. The closing ceremony on 4th November 2022 was graced with the presence of Shree Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India, and Mr. Avinash Tripathi, SDM. The Principal, staff, and delegates thanked Chairman Sir Dr.A.F Pinto and Managing Director Madam Dr.Grace Pinto for giving this opportunity to enhance the student’s knowledge and debating skills and show them a new level of understanding of diplomatic and governance skills.
